  If there are an infinite number of parallel universes, then there are an infinite number of them so close to ours we could never tell them apart from our own.

      Read Heinlein's "The Number of the Beast" which hypothesizes 6 to the 6th power, to the 6th power possible universes, but as fiction. It DOES address the idea well, however.
